Our team provides tailored acoustic design services for clients in line with all relevant local and national regulatory requirements. Our services extend to suppliers, where we offer support and guidance when bringing new products to market.

We also provide formal development sessions for our clients, including designers, planners and councils, to upskill others in this field.

We work through a multitude of options to meet each client’s individual separation performance requirements. This ensures optimal acoustic deliveries for all types of spaces, ranging from audiological testing facilities to open plan work areas, cafés and auditoria.

We model and assess environmental noise generation from indoor and outdoor activities - including effects on neighbours or vice versa – to work through noise management options. This ensures we meet resource consenting or other planning processes. These assessments are undertaken for both private and public applications.

We represent councils in a peer review or advisory role and can act as expert witness in mediation, local hearing and Environment Court settings.

District Plans require clients to insulate sensitive activities from noise issued from road, rail, aircraft, ports and more. We provide measurement, modelling and reporting services to ensure our clients’ activities are in line with these requirements.

With the support of our in-house mechanical team, we can provide the design of noise-attenuated ventilation and/or air conditioning systems, which often accompany acoustic insulation regulations.

With equipment capable of measuring a wide variety of acoustic parameters, our team is well placed to provide the necessary compliance and performance reporting to meet the NZ Building Code and other criteria.

We also provide clients with construction noise and vibration management plans and operational noise management plans, supported by noise and vibration monitoring.

We have the assessment tools and experience, including former services engineers, to provide pragmatic noise and vibration control solutions for individual building services systems, from distributed systems to large central cooling and heating plant and generators.

We specify solutions at scale. This includes industrial noise control, including for process plant and pumping and treatment stations, where the noise source cannot be sufficiently isolated and assessment of workplace noise exposure.
