Canterbury Cancer Centre

Canterbury Cancer Centre is a purpose-designed facility offering integrated support for cancer patients and their whānau across the South Island. This development provides a welcoming and supportive environment for individuals undergoing treatment, with a focus on comfort, accessibility, and community connection.

The development includes a 50-room accommodation wing tailored to meet a range of needs, with private kitchenettes, shared cooking facilities, and family-sized units available. Alongside patient accommodation, the project consolidates administrative functions into a modern office space and introduces flexible communal areas for events, training, and support services. The design prioritises comfort, accessibility, and connection, creating a welcoming environment for those navigating cancer treatment.

The facility was recognised with a Gold Award in the Health Category at the NZ Commercial Project Awards 2024.
