A popular Christchurch hotel has been getting a spruce up to go with its Aperol Spritz.
Powell Fenwick has been involved in multiple projects throughout the Commodore Airport Hotel, ranging from new accommodation wings to air conditioning upgrades. The site includes 156 rooms, a tennis court, heated pool, sauna, spa, fitness centre, restaurant and bar, resort style terrace, business centre and seven conference rooms.
Our teams have provided Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Hydraulics engineering services for the new Matai Wing – the first hotel wing built post the Christchurch earthquakes. Our Mechanical and Electrical teams also contributed to the fully refurbished existing Kowhai Wing, including retrofitting ventilation heat recovery.
More recently, we completed Building Services designs for the hotel’s kitchen upgrade to support its luxury dining experience.
