The safety and well-being of our staff, their families and clients is of great importance to us.
We are committed to following the NZ Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines and to ensuring the health and safety of our workers (including our employees and contractors), clients, and anyone else who is affected by our work. We support vaccination as an important step to help reduce the risk of COVID-19 in our communities, and to enable us to live and operate in a safer, more open environment and economy. This is particularly important for us where face-to-face services are so important to the work we do.
Our Covid-19 Policy has been developed in accordance with the government’s New Zealand Covid-19 Protection Framework, with engagement from our people and with a Risk Analysis using WorkSafe guidance. It also takes into consideration the approaches taken by many of our clients and key stakeholders.
Our policy requires all (staff and visitors above the age of 12) coming to our Powell Fenwick offices to have received their first vaccination by 3 December and be fully vaccinated by 1 January 2022.
All staff attending sites, meetings, and other functions as a representative of Powell Fenwick, under all levels of the Ministry of Health COVID Protection Framework (traffic light system) will be vaccinated.
We will ask all visitors and staff to show evidence of vaccination on entry to our premises from 3 December 2021. In accordance with the COVID-19 Protection Framework, visitors are requested to follow MOH Guidelines under the appropriate traffic light setting.
Please note that we also support the use of video and teleconferencing where face-to-face meetings are not possible and encourage you to request this mode of communication where applicable.
We will regularly review this policy and note that it may be adjusted from time to time, if and when additional guidance is received from the Ministry of Health.
